Ryanair

Reported on several email groups recently.

Ryanair will apparently not take up five B738 deliveries as the aircraft are being sold to Avolon Aircraft with delivery due in November. The following were registered to Boeing yesterday:

N734BA(34989) to have been EI-ESO
N742BA(34991) to have been EI-ESN
N751BA(34990) to have been EI-ESP
N7235C(34988) to have been EI-ESL

The fifth aircraft is almost certain to be EI-ESM (34992). Of the above, at least EI-ESL/M/N have already been rolled out at Renton.

Update: Apparently it has been mentioned that the aircraft will still be delivered to Ryanair, on a sale & leaseback deal. Although a Middle East carrier has also been mentioned.

It has also been rumoured, that these aircraft may be going to Southwest Airlines
