PMI Movements 10th April 2012

Good evening everyone

Traditionally Tuesday is the slowest day at PMI during the Summer months and even more so in April as the Thomson and Thomas Cook Scandinavia flights haven't fully started up yet.

And so it proved today although what Thomson flights that did opearte produced several of their latest series of aircraft with G-TAWA,G-TAWB.G-TAWF and G-TAWG being noted.

The only other mildly interesting movements were Vueling's ex Spanair A320's EC-LQL and EC-LQN being recorded.

Air Berlin were using TUIfly D-AHFX on 3 flights today,although I'm not sure what colours this is in ?
Maybe one of the editorial team can report back if they see it later this week?

PMI Movements 9th April 2012

Several items of note today, despite Monday being one of PMI’s quieter days.

Vueling used 3 ex Spanair A320 on today’s Barcelona flights.

In the morning they sent in EC-LQK (ex EC-JNC) and EC-LQN (ex EC-IVG).
In addition A late evening arrival was EC-LQL (ex EC-IEJ), stopping overnight.

The 2 flights from Turkey produced different aircraft from those used last week.
Onur Air’s Flight was operated by A320 TC-OBL and the Pegasus flight used B738W TC-CPA which was delivered to them at the end of January.

The Air Arabia Maroc was the same as last week CN-NMA.

Also noted on Plane Finder was C525A D-IWWP which departed PMI around 18:45 local time.
Finally there was another Ryanair swap with EI-DPM replacing EI-EKX.

Not a bad day then let’s see what Tuesday brings us?

Palma Visit

The Palma Spotters moderators will be visiting Palma from 12 Apr - 16 Apr.

We will be staying at the Apolo & may also be found at times at Mels Bar or the Tavern in C'an Pastilla.

If anyone else is in Palma around this time please come & say hello.

PMI Sunday 8th April Movements

Hi All

Plenty scheduled movements again,but very little to write home about with the usuual Sunday Italians and Russians not having started up yet for the Summer.

There was however a "mystery" Vueling A320 with a HEX code of 344283 which Libhomeradar works out as EC-LKT which is definately wrong.
I expect it will eventually turn out to be a re-registered ex Spanair machine so if anybody has some better information please post it here.

The only other movement of interest was YL-LCE A320 of Smart Lynx which helpfully arrived after dark .

There was another change in the based Ryanair EI-DWG replacing EI-DAR.

The Air Arabia Maroc flight is on again in the early hours of Monday morning and there is also a Onur Air and Peagaus again tomorrow but not coming in until late evening so will be under cover of darkness.

Saturday 7th April PMI Movements

Hi All

A significant ramp up in terms of number of movements no doubt due to the Easter holidays.

Unfortunately there was not a significant increase in movements of interest although the following were noted:

EC-LMN   Air Europa    A330  From and to Madrid (am service)
HA-LWE   Wizz             A320  From and to Cluj
PH-TFF     Arkefly          B738  Operating for Jetairfly From and to Charleroi
SP-ENZ   Enter Air         B738   From and to Warsaw

A couple of changes on the based Ryanair with DAJ and DHF being replaced by the equally uninspiring DAR and DPX
